Below is what StackCare Supply holds and sources as standing business. It is a description of capability, not a catalogue — quantities, specifications and availability are confirmed against your enquiry.
01How It Is Organised
Breadth is the point
A supplier who covers one area well still leaves you managing four other relationships, four delivery schedules and four invoicing routes. The value of a distributor is measured by how much of the list one call can close.
The six areas below are not marketing segments. They reflect how supply actually behaves — what is consumed daily, what attaches to equipment already in service, what is specified once and lives for years. Each is handled on the rhythm it demands.
Item types are named throughout as examples of coverage. Anything not listed is not necessarily outside our range; the final section covers how requests beyond the standing range are handled.
01
Consumables & disposables
The items consumed every shift and reordered without a second thought — until the day they are not there. This area runs on forecast and standing schedule rather than individual orders, because a stockout here stops clinical work outright.
Injection & access
Syringes across common volumes, hypodermic and safety needles, cannulae, blood collection sets, sharps containers.
Wound care
Dressings, gauze, adhesive and cohesive bandages, tapes, wound closure strips and dressing packs.
Protection
Examination and surgical gloves, gowns, aprons, masks, eye protection, headwear and shoe covers.
Procedure & theatre
Sterile drapes, procedure packs, surgical blades and handles, sutures and skin preparation products.
Hygiene & infection control
Surface and hand disinfectants, wipes, sterilisation pouches, indicators and clinical waste sacks.
Continence & general nursing
Underpads, catheter and drainage sets, bowls and receivers, tongue depressors and thermometer covers.
02
Diagnostic & monitoring equipment
Instruments and the parts that keep them usable. Equipment supply without accessory supply is a false economy — a monitor with a perished cuff or a missing lead is out of service just as surely as a broken one.
Vital signs monitoring
Patient monitors, pulse oximeters, sphygmomanometers and automated blood pressure units.
Cardiac & neurological
ECG units, electrodes, conductive gels, recording paper and lead sets.
Examination instruments
Otoscopes, ophthalmoscopes, stethoscopes, diagnostic sets, examination lamps and specula.
Measurement
Clinical thermometers, scales, height measures, dopplers and spirometers.
Point-of-care testing
Analysers and their consumables, test strips, lancets and specimen collection supplies.
Accessories & spares
Cuffs, sensors, probes, cables and replacement parts for equipment already in service.
03
Infusion & respiratory support
Two areas where the equipment and its consumables are inseparable, and where substitution has to be verified rather than assumed. We track compatibility across manufacturers so a shortage in one line does not halt a therapy.
Infusion delivery
Volumetric and syringe pumps, giving sets, extension lines, connectors and infusion stands.
Vascular access
Peripheral cannulae, securement dressings, needle-free connectors and flush supplies.
Oxygen therapy
Concentrators, regulators, flowmeters, masks, nasal cannulae, humidification and tubing.
Airway management
Laryngoscopes and blades, airways, endotracheal and tracheostomy supplies, resuscitation bags.
Suction
Portable and wall-mounted suction units, canisters, liners, catheters and tubing.
Nebulisation
Nebuliser units, chambers, masks, mouthpieces and replacement filter sets.
04
Beds & support surfaces
Durable equipment specified once and lived with for years. Getting the specification right at the point of enquiry matters more here than anywhere else in the range, because the cost of a wrong frame is measured in a decade of workarounds.
Hospital beds
Electric profiling beds, low-height frames, side rails, bed extensions and integrated scales.
Specialist frames
Bariatric beds, paediatric cots, birthing beds and examination couches.
Pressure area care
Foam, hybrid and dynamic air mattresses, overlays, cushions and heel protection.
Positioning
Wedges, rolls, limb supports, backrests and postural positioning aids.
Trolleys & stretchers
Patient trolleys, transport stretchers, treatment tables and procedure chairs.
Bedside furniture
Over-bed tables, lockers, chairs, screens and privacy curtaining.
05
Mobility & patient transfer
Equipment that protects staff as much as patients. Handling injuries are among the most common reasons a ward loses a member of staff, and the right transfer equipment in the right place is the cheapest intervention available.
Wheelchairs
Self-propelled and attendant-propelled chairs, transit chairs, bariatric models and accessories.
Walking aids
Frames, rollators, crutches, walking sticks, ferrules and replacement parts.
Hoists & slings
Mobile and standing hoists, sling ranges by size and application, spreader bars and chargers.
Transfer aids
Slide sheets, transfer boards, handling belts, turntables and repositioning systems.
Bathing & toileting
Shower chairs, bath lifts, commodes, raised seats and grab rails.
Daily living
Reaching aids, dressing aids, adapted utensils and non-slip matting.
06
Facility & laboratory equipment
The infrastructure around clinical work — storage, sterilisation support, waste handling and the laboratory bench. Rarely urgent, consistently necessary, and usually the first thing a fragmented supply chain forgets.
Treatment furniture
Examination couches, treatment trolleys, dressing carts, stools and instrument tables.
Storage
Medical cabinets, controlled-drug storage, modular shelving, bins and ward storage systems.
Sterilisation support
Autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, instrument trays, pouches and process indicators.
Cold storage
Pharmacy and vaccine refrigerators, cool boxes, temperature monitoring and data loggers.
Laboratory consumables
Specimen containers, slides, pipettes and tips, tubes, racks and transport packaging.
Waste management
Clinical waste bins and sacks, sharps disposal systems, spill kits and segregation signage.
08Sourced to Order
The item that is not on any list
Every site has them. A frame with an unusual weight rating. A consumable that only one manufacturer still produces. A replacement for a line that was discontinued between budget approval and delivery.
We treat this as ordinary work rather than an exception, because for most sites it comes up monthly. Send the specification, the part number, or a photograph of the old one — any of the three is enough to start.
Identification
We work back from whatever you have — a code, a description, a physical sample — to a current equivalent.
Equivalence checking
Where the original is unavailable, alternatives are proposed with the differences stated rather than glossed over.
Single-line orders
A one-item request is handled the same way as a scheduled consignment. There is no threshold to clear.
The consignment is only half of a delivery. The rest is the paperwork your own compliance file depends on.
Itemised documentation
A consignment note listing every line, with quantities and pack detail set out against your original request.
Batch & lot detail
Batch and lot references recorded on receipt and carried through to the delivery record for traceability.
Expiry visibility
Dated stock is rotated before it ships, and remaining shelf life is stated rather than left for you to discover.
Handover confirmation
Delivery to the point of use, signed for by the person who will actually be storing it.
10Enquiry
Send us the list you are working from
A spreadsheet, a purchase order, a photograph of a shelf — whatever form it is in. We will come back marking what we hold, what we source, and what we would suggest instead.
